Refund and Return Policy

At Under Studio ("we," "us," "our"), we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we offer a flexible Refund and Return Policy to ensure a positive shopping experience.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Return Window: You may return items within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.

Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at hello@understudiohub.com with a description of the issue and photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or refund.

2. How to Initiate a Return

Contact Us: To start a return, please contact us at hello@understudiohub.com. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.

Return Authorization: Upon approval, we will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization number (RMA). Please do not send your items back without this authorization.

Shipping Your Return: You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item unless the return is due to our error (e.g. wrong item sent, item damaged during shipping). We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

3. Refunds

Processing Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 15 business days.

Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (e.g. items not in their original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error).

Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund after 15 business days, please check with your bank or credit card company first. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@understudiohub.com.

4. Exchanges

Exchanging Items: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us at hello@understudiohub.com for instructions.

5. Return Shipping

Customer Responsibility: Unless the return is due to our error, you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Free Return Shipping: If the return is due to our error (e.g. incorrect or damaged items), we will cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact us for a prepaid shipping label.

6. Gifts

Gift Returns: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

Non-Gift Returns: If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be notified about your return.
